Hi, I'm Jay Soriano, Your Las Vegas Event Photographer.
A specialist in portraiture, I love shooting events because I’m able to bring my experience from portraiture to help people feel comfortable in a fast paced environment or event.
I love the interactions with clients and I love bringing out the best in people even when they think they’re not quite photogenic.
At it’s core, that’s what a big chunk of event photography is about. Especially with really big events, I may have short interactions with people – and it’s my job to just help them feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Me vs Other Event Photographers
Anti-Salesy Photographer: Many event photography companies are heavily sales based, hidden fees, upsells, etc. I don’t do any of that. Transparent pricing, all posted below. Any questions? Just ask.

Looking for a photographer for your event, birthday, bachelor/bachelorette party, store opening, corporate event, etc.? These packages are designed for events of 10+ people.
Note: These packages exclude weddings. Wedding packages include (and require) an additional photographer, advanced retouching and more.
I offer honest, affordable and transparent pricing. I include un-watermarked, full resolution photos with a release for prints.
Weekday Event Photography Rates
- $450 for 2 Hours of Event Photography Coverage
- $600 for 3 Hours of Event Photography Coverage
- $750 for 4 Hours (Half-Day) of Event Photography Coverage
- $937.50 for 5 Hours of Event Photography Coverage
- $1100 for 6 Hours of Event Photography Coverage
- $1250 for 7 Hours of Event Photography Coverage
- $1400 for 8 Hours (Full-Day) of Event Photography Coverage (+$175 per hour after 8 hours)
Payment
No deposits are required. Payment is due after event for single-day events. For multiple days (conferences, etc.), or bookings above $2000+, 20% deposit is required.
Payment Methods:
ACH / Bank Transfers / Check
3% fee applies to credit card payments $750+
Turnaround time – 48 hours of the event (or invoice payment).
Extras
- Add $100 for Weekend / Holiday Rates (Friday-Sunday, Major Holidays)
- Add $100 for Travel to the Las Vegas Strip, Downtown Las Vegas, Las Vegas Convention Center & Lake Las Vegas
- Add $100 for Basic Videography – Great for social media, sizzle reels, b-roll etc., basic videography will include raw footage of short clips of the event (editing not included, please contact for a quote).
- Advanced Retouch – Popular examples include; person removal, face swaps (to get everyone smiling in a group photo) – $20 per photo.
- Cull the photos to the Top 25 Photos (includes 30 minutes of additional editing) – Add $150
- Cull the photos to the Top 50 Photos (includes 30 minutes of additional editing) – Add $300
- Additional (2nd) Photographer – Add $150 per hour
- Buy the Raw Photos (Includes SD Card, Delivered After the Event) – $50
With event photography, people want to share the photos pretty close to when the event happened – not a week later! Thus to expedite the process all photos are included from the shoot with basic corrections, this usually amounts to about 50+ photos per hour depending on the event, how many people, size of the venue, etc. Turnaround time is within 48 hours.
